I found Highway 40 across Arkansas to be the absolute worse to drive in a
Miata.  The road joints are spaced at a distance that sets up a beat in the
Miata that will "drive" (pun intended) you out of your mind. 

The only way I could make it across the state was to move into the left lane
for most of the way across the state.
