While there is no list specific to Cobra's, there are a number of lists you
could subscribe to:

The British car list (high level of mail, more than the Miata list)
                      majordomo@autox.team.net
The Exotic car list  (low level of mail, mostly flame wars about italian cars
                     it seems)
                     exotic-cars-request@sol.asl.hitachi.com
The Race Fab list    (mostly deals with working on race cars and fabricating
                     stuff should be right up the alley of building a kit car)
                     racefab-request@pms703.pms.ford.com
The Hot Rod list     (had lots of good info on it, but I haven't been on it for
                     a couple of years)
                     hotrod-request@dixie.com
