There was a thread on the Neon maillist about older Nology wires, which probably weren't shielded. The poster put them on and loved them, but he was always complaining about his car stalling and his dashboard going crazy. He spent a lot of time hounding Chrysler and they replaced a lot of things, including I think the ECU and dash. When his car died leaving the dealership, he really got on the service department. A Chrysler engineer came by, noticed the wires and pulled them off. Electrical gremlins went away. The poster then got nailed with a bill for all the unneeded warranty work. Hee hee. Although I thought the dealer was also at fault, I had no sympathy because the poster always ragged on miatas. Said his automatic Neon could outrun any miata. Hmmph.
