I know, a cheap way to get your attention, but I need some help 
mounting the DaLan trailer hitch from my 1990 A on an R model. I knew 
that it would take either cutting a notch in the center of the rear 
skirt or having the hitch tongue (?) lowered to clear, but I hadn't 
planned on the two ends of the bar hitting the skirt, too. I haven't 
cut the notch yet since I would like to have the tongue replaced by a 
lowered removable receiver. Will the ends of the bar clear the skirt 
when the notch is cut or the tongue is out of the way, or is it also 
necessary to trim the two sides of the skirt, also? What have you 
other trailer towing R owners done to fit your hitches?
