Has anyone ever had a stock Miata radio stolen or heard of one being stolen? I think the code's a moot point because I don't think anyone would take it anyway. I don't really know, though. If anyone's heard of one being taken, how about posting that to the list. If they don't get stolen then we don't have to worry about the code clearing procedure being published anymore. FWIW, I don't put a code in mine. It's not the code being in the radio that acts as a deterrent anyway, but the thief's supposed belief that the radio won't work if he steals it. He doesn't know that the code isn't set so I don't bother. Making it not work after it's stolen doesn't help me any. True, but it might stop the thief from trying to steal another Miata radio.
