Hi, Gang,

Has anyone installed an auto alarm on their Miata themselves? If so,
any tips on good locations of components? 

(I'd like to go with a Clifford Concept 40 or IQ-800/900, both with the
internal proximity sensors, but, apparently, you can only get a Clifford
WITH installation 
at an authorized dealer. The ones in my area, though, charge $200-$250 on
top of 
the alarm cost for this "service," and are pretty slimey, to boot. So, I'm 
looking at Alpine's 8057/8058; I figure I should be able to do it myself, given
a week or so ;-) Anyone familiar with these guys?).
