Anyone have any negatives to doing this? Anything I can do to reduce the heat under the hood would be great. After the Regional race in Corpus Christi two weeks ago, I was amazed how much heat was trapped under the hood. Since I cannot legally funnel any air in, it would sure help if I could control the heat build-up. Should I expect the engine to run hotter or cooler? Will a colder heat range plug help, if the wrap does increase engine operating temperature? From the last couple of races, it appears the the 1.8 Miata is affected more by heat than the 1.6 Miatas and any of the Neons. 'Mad' Merv
