    Yes, Miatas are like crack.  The addiction starts after the first use  
:-) and we spend obscene amounts of $$$ for our addiction :-(.  My Miata is

   The Ford 302 conversion (Monster Miata) is for real.  Done for mucho 
dinero by a company called Monster Motorsports.  They even have a blown Mega 
Monster Miata good for 400 HP.  I wonder if the Mustang Cobra motor could be 
crammed into the Miata?  That motor is pretty tall, though.

   I once read a magazine article on a 13B Turbo II conversion.  It takes 
much more work than a 302 conversion.  It also cost over $10,000.
