} An easy way to monitor gas milage and therefore throttle position, is to
} install a vacuum gage.  Keeping the throttle open only as far as required
} to maintain  your speed will show up in higher numbers on the vacuum scale.
} More vacuum = better gas milage.

But isn't an engine more efficient (up to a point) with the throttle
open wider?
