Glad to meet you Redneck Greg,  I'm Long Island White Trash Dan here.  PC,
Political Correctness has gone ape wild, not just here on the net, but all
over the US of A to the point where it can get kinda fascist.  People get
all hot and bent out of shape when they think that SOMEONE ELSE should get
offended.  Instead of recognizing, identifying  cultural differences and
embracing diversity thereby creating strength the PC crowd attacks free
speech and lives in fear of offending others when they should be using the
opportunity to learn and educate. (sorry about the run-on sentence!)

The thing about the PC sickness that permeates this country is they don't
see that it's roots are more racist than those that are at least honest and
open about their racism.  Open racism is identifiable and easy to educate.
When you drive the racism underground by limiting free speech, it is much
harder to identify and educate against.


I think this thread, which has gone on way too long, is really the exception
here rather than the rule.  Welcome to the list, I'm sure you'll enjoy it
and if you don't like the PC comments or My free speech comments just hit
the delete key.
