My girlfriend and I just bought a Red 1990 (w/ 45 K Km, A/C, 
Hardtop, CA$ 11,000). The original tires need replacing soon. I 
would like to improve handling but stay with the stock alloy rims. 
(5.5" or 6" wide ?). I've looked at stock size HR tires that should 
be a bit better than the original tires. I also see 195 55 vr 14 
tires from a few manufacturers. Since it is her car mostly, ultimate 
performance is not required and money is an object, what is 
recommended for a new set of tires ?
