well, i've had my '93 for 2 years 8 months now, and over the last month or
so i've noticed that my plastic window has begun to develop little rusty-brown
freckles on it. can those of you who have been through the brown-window cycle
tell me if i'm in the beginning stages of window breakdown?

what i've noticed so far is that the freckles are about the size of the head
of a pin, and they are definitely on the *outside* surface of the window. i
use Meguiar's cleaner and polish pretty regularly, and until recently have
had a clear window. i don't use a window pocket either, btw...
