The Bluebonnet chapter had a really cool fun run this past Sunday (6/30). A couple of interesting tid-bits. (1) If you ever get to central TX (Austin, Lockhart, Red Rock etc) you HAVE to go by the Central Texas Automobile History Musuem. Also known as "Rosanky's Car Museum", in Rosanky TX. They have an incredible collection of cars and automobile "stuff". For example, a 16 cyl Cadillac from many years ago, a "1911 Garden Car" with wicker seats and wicker pop-up top for "motoring around the estate on picnics and garden outings". A 1969 Corvair with 0 (that's right 0 actual miles!) the car was purchased by a dealership, and immediately garaged. It was purchased by an MD many years later and only flatbedded to various places. It even has the original window sticker, still attached to the window. Oh yeah, a BRG Limited Edition with 330 original miles! (2) Autorotor data point. The car runs up to 110 mph very quickly and still seems to have PLENTY of power. I'll have to keep experimenting with this until I find the TOP end =:O The 110mph point was attained on a long stretch of 2 lane road out in eastern-central TX somewhere. I was chasing a (and catching up to) a Sebring equipped Miata. The car just flew up to 110mph and was still strongly accelerating. This was not even at full throttle! (We currently have the MSD bypassed and are experiencing some ping a high-rpms/full boost). I was keeping the boost down to about 5lbs and under. Wheeee!!!!
