Ok, I admit it. I use my cruise control on the highways. I love cruise control and the fact that I can avoid tickets when the road is wide open. Every speeding ticket I've gotten has come when I wasn't meaning to speed but rather crested a gentle hill and didn't realize it until my ~65 became ~75 and my radar detector went off saying, "Too late." Anyway, the question is what to do with my right leg after turning off the cruise. I can't leave it there, the steering wheel keeps me from propping it up and I certainly can't put it on the brake. I end up bending my knee 90 degrees and putting my foot toward the driver's door. This is the *only* annoying interior feature I have discovered on the Miata although it is not *that* bad. On an empty road putting my leg aside is not an issue but when in steady traffic which could slow or swerve at any time, I'd hate to have an accident because of this position. Oh well...
