Subject: Help! Brainstorm Low Profile Headlights

I've just installed the Brainstorm Low-Profile Headlights to my UK 1.8i =
1995 MX-5 and I cannot get them to work properly. I have double checked =
all the wiring with the manual.

Here in the UK we have something called Dim-Dip, it is a regulation that =
when the ignition and the sidelights are on, the dipped beams must also =
be on at 15% (approx), however I know how to disable this on my car so I =
don't think this is the cause, just thought I'd mention it!

My problem is that, with Dip-Dip enabled, when I put the sidelights on =
(1st postion) I get the main beam on one side and the low beam on the =
other side, both on at 15%.

If dim-dip is disconnected I get just sidelights on switch position 2. =
(which I expected)

If I switch to position 2 (dipped headlights) I get all beams full on, =
and the Full beam indicator glows.

If push the switch forward for full beam, I get the same as position 2.

The manual suggests swapping the diode over, I tried swapping the two =
connectors on the relay connected via a black component (diode?) one one =
and then both relays and this did not solve the problem.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?  =20
