Can any body else comment on their ability to do this? > You will need some momentum to execute a 180 degree U-turn within the width of the road (of-road off-road please) so second gear is fine. At the turning point, tug the steering wheel hard to the right and pull hard on the handbrake. The rear wheels will lock up and the tail will will snap around. If you panic and hit the brakes, the car will stop mid-pivot and slide. If you've judged speed and surface correctly it will stop when you are facing the way you came. Beginners Tip Put your hands on the wheel at 7 o'clock. Accelerate untill you've enough speed to spin, dip the clutch and rev up before pulling the handbrake. Pull it and before the car stops turning, dump the clutch. Now all of you go out and do it while I stock up on Dunlop and Yokohama shares : ) Next week : donuts, burnouts and driving on two wheels.
