Hi all...

Well, the lights on Enzo still won't go down (!), and I admit I haven't
followed the "Miatas in the media" thread very carefully. BUT, last Monday
night I had nothing to do, so I started surfing the cable TV channels. I
stopped at the Disney Channel's show "Spellbinder." The plot is kinda hokey,
about some sort of alternate universe where technology and science have been
elevated to the status of magic, and only the elite are allowed to use it.
Somehow, a boy from our universe gets zapped over to this other one, and thus
starts introducing technology to the masses. Then, he comes back home but now
the elite of the alternate universe know of our world, so they come to our
world to steal our technology.

Yes, I *am* getting to the Miata....sorry. Sci-fi stuff requires explaining.
Anyway, the evil spellbinder lady, Ashka, is visiting our world and driving
(yup) a red Miata (looks like a base package). Was kinda a neat surprise to
see the car. I can't figure out if the show is in the UK or Austrailia, but
the car is a RHD one. The people talk like they are Austrailian, though.

Anyway, just FYI....
