According to the 96 shop manual, the ride height is measured from the center of the wheel to the fender brim. The difference between left and right measurement must not exceed 10mm (0.39in), and the rear measurement must be larger than the front measurement by 10-30mm (0.4-1.1 in). This is found in the wheel alignment section. Page R-6 in my book. Pete 96 white Near Paris.
