I have a 96M and have noticed a clicking noise when my driver side window reaches the top of its travel, but not on the down. Also, I do remember seeing an artical in Miata Mag about adjusting the headlights...let me go through the back issues and see what I can do. Matt 96M ---------- From: miata@jhunix.hcf.jhu.edu on behalf of Ando Sonenblick Sent: Tuesday, July 30, 1996 6:02 PM To: Multiple recipients of list Subject: M has 3 problems -- one quite peculiar Gang, I've noticed three problems with my new M so far: 1) the peculiar one: the number 4 setting on my fan causes the fan to turn off! That's right! Setting one puts the fan on low, setting 2 on med-low, setting 3 on med-high and setting 4... nothing! Anyone ever hear of such a thing?!?!?! (It's so peculiar to me I kinda like it this way... like a unique personality trait of the car or something....) 2) the passenger side electric windows makes a click or knock sound as the window is rolled down. Like a click, click, click..... function of the window seems (so far) fine and the sound only happens when rolling the window down. Any thoughts? Anyone have this problem as well? 3) the driver's side headlight is not positioned in a way that it's flush with the hood. Imagine a perfectly aligned head light that a heavy bodied person sits on and the headlight consequently gets pushed down about 1/2 inch.... Anyone know how to adjust the headlights? I'd prefer to do it myself than go through the hassle of taking it to the dealer.... Thanks much! Ando '96 M 18 degrees of initial timing No Shipping hooks!
