The wiring harness on my '90 had been cut out by a previous owner. When I decided to try a stock radio instead of the aftermarket unit in the car when I bought it, I found the connectors (both parts) at an auto salvage yard. The guy gave them to me since I was buying other parts at the time. If they can't find them in a car, ask them to check the backs of any Miata radios they have lying around. In my case, that's where they found it since they apparently remove the radios by cutting the wires instead of unplugging them!
