IMHO, those of us who write should NOT get all rabid and wound around the axle in their communications. I say that because in the business I'm in, we make millions of product each day, and receive only one complaint per many millions of product, but that is still a LOT of complaints. I know that a calm, reasoned letter generates a lot more sympathy and motivation to help than a wild-eyed blistering indictment of all things in this galaxy. I also have found that letters to the Top Gun of an organization can generate an INCREDIBLE (!) amount of heat and motion. FWIW.
