Subject: Engine cutout at 2500 RPM

I have a '90 with a Sebring supercharger and MSD.  Yesterday I cleaned the

engine taking great care to cover the exposed air filter.  Today I start the

car and it runs and idles okay, but when the engine gets to 2500 RPM, the

engine dies. The engine recovers as soon as the RPM drops below 2500. I

removed the air filter and it is dry.  I pulled the plug wires and they are

dry.  Also checked electrical connections and they seem okay.  Does anyone

have any ideas on what else I should check for?  Any suggestions whould be

appreciated.
