thanks for the response.

I (sort of) understand that you do not want to reveal your secrets.

I am a bit disappointed that you don't leave the judgement on what 

can be done and can't be done to me. 

I have access to some people who are quite good at electronics, and 

if they did destroy my radio, I surely would not blame you.

Living over here in Germany, the sending 

and resending routine is not an option for me.
