From: Matthew Anderson <-Matco-@msn.com> Subject: Rear lip spoiler installed - from Roebuck Date: Mon, 2 Sep 1996 17:36:32 -0500
Okay, Last week I finally got the right color lip spoiler from Roebuck, and it looks great! The install could be done in about 10 minutes, but took me about 30 because it is not easy putting a hole in your car. Measure 134 times, drill once. Anyhow, the lip came with three spacers that go on the bolt in the center, but after putting them on I noticed that it caused the middel of the lip to not fully seat down. I think by only putting two on it would have come out better, but once you stick that puppy down, it ain't goin' anywhere. Has anyone else had this problem? I am wondering if the spacers will compress over time and maybe then it will go down more. Right now I fear that water getting under the lip can cause damage. It does look good though, Roebuck did a great job on the paint, it had one small nick in the lip, but it looked like it was there before painting and is down low so you can't see it..no big deal.
