This is not English 101, this is (was) the Meat list. Hopefully your >immaculate spelling will help you next time you have to replace your shocks or you have to change your tire in >the pouring rain > > It is regretful that you, whomever you are, have to hide behind a remailer, for it reduces the credence of your article. If you fear flaming, then perhaps anonymity is your protection. My e-mail software has a "trash" button, which allows me to delete that which I do not wish to read. I can delete messages on specific threads, or by specific authors. I can reduce the 184 messages of the day to as few as I wish to peruse, or read them all if I wish. The only "inconvenience" with the high traffic is the amount of download time it takes. This is only a real problem for those who pay by the minute for their ISP. I enjoy the technical posts, and feel affinity to some of those who express their non-Miata related feelings, opinions and experiences. I am not sure whether you want more "Meat" in the list, or if it were a misspelling of Miata list. Sometimes technical questions may get overlooked in the traffic. I asked last week if Lodge Plugs are still being manufactured. There was not one single response. I made the mistake of including my question in a response to a posting about Bosch plugs. Mea culpa. It is my hope that the knowledgeable and enthusiatic members NOT desert the list, for I have learned much from them in the year and a half that I have been subscribed. I intend to remain here, whether lurking or participating, until such time as I, or my Miata, or the list reach our demise. I only wish that when one feels as strongly as you, that you have the intestinal fortitude to sign your name to your post. Freedom of speech, FWIW, does not include the corollary of requirement of others to listen. Obviously you were aware of that also, since you refrained from using a subject header allowing me to delete without viewing. SHAME ON YOU. Farewell from the list, if that is your decision. I do hope you remember how to unsubscribe!
