The only time I have heard a sound like that is when I had not tightened

the nut at the top of the Shock shaft completely. When the car hits a

bump, the nut moves up from the frame and bangs when the car returns to

its normal position. Just to make sure, re-torque all of the nuts at the

top of the shock shaft. If this isn't the solution, maybe someone else

has another solution.
