Subject: The Long Trip

What a weekend! 2000+ miles in 4 days. Left Dallas Thur Night and went

to Wichita Falls. Friday I started my drive to Angel Fire, New Mexico. 

The driving was great until I hit New Mexico. After 30 minutes into N.M.

it started raining, of course I was going about 70 and had no reason to

put the top up because I was not getting wet. About 10 minutes into the

rain it got harder, found a place to pull over and got the top up (had

to remove the top cover). After a mile or so down the road it started

hailing and I could not find any covering or places to pull over.

Ouch!!! Time to call the Insurance Agent.



Saturday:

Drove all over the Taos, Santa Fe, Angel Fire, and Red River Areas.

Beutiful scenery, great roads (except 1 3 mile stretch of dirt road hell

that went strait down into a canyon).



Sunday:

Left Angel Fire at 7:00a.m. and drove to Lincoln (Billy the Kid) and

then to Abeline then to Dallas.  Got home at 1:00 a.m.



I hope to get some pictures up on the net sometime soon.
