Sounds a little dangerous. Although the lifter noise is gone what

about any possible damage to other parts of the engine?  Synthetic oil

is a safer bet.  However, I'd like to hear from someone who knows

about the safety of the 50/50 mix of oil and kerosine on the engine? 

If this is a safe procedure it might be useful in clearing out sone

cloged oil passeges.
