My theory of why this works is: Nasty little electrons with nothing else to do sneak out in the moist night air looking for trouble. They tell lies to the main processor about what you want just for fun.. It will believe just about anyone that talks loud enough. The little wire is really just an electron tunnel back to their own rooms. They seem to enjoy running around in the circle. (You don't suppose they have tiny little Miatas!)
