---------- You can use any oil filter which meets Federal requirements w/o=20 affecting your warranty, which means basically any you can find in your=20 local garage or auto parts store. According to many studies, Fram is=20 supposed to be,(or at least used to be) one of the best. But I was told = by my old Z mechanic that they were too restrictive which meant the oil=20 didn't get to the overhead cam quick enough. Could'a been just a line=20 of bull though. He did that occasionally, mainly when I'd come in to=20 have some work done on my car. That's why he's no longer my mechanic. These boxes always state 'Meets or exceeds OEM specifications' which = would imply that it wouldn't be too restrictive. Who knows, I'm using = them and saving a couple of bucks. I've never had a oil related failure = (changing my own oil and filters for almost 40 years) with any car, and = have used Fram from the get-go. =20 \014 ==============================================================================
