Subject: FLASH TO PASS DIODE MODIFICATION

            I hope this makes it to the list, I've been having some problems

with my e-mail.



             I tried the flash-to-pass mod. that is listed in the " Tech"

garage on miata.net. It is under  miscellaneous. It has instructions on how

to take a 25A diode from Radio Shack and putting it between to wires in a

connecter that is under the dash, I tried  it and had no success, has anyone

else tried this, and if so has anyone found a way to make it work.

Also I have a large blue box under my dash, mounted over he steering control

rod, It has a Ford Motors Canada sticker on it and I was wondering if someone

might have any idea what it is and why is it from Ford.
