How leakproof is a HY>convertible roof? I can't speak for anyone else, but my top is drier and more watertight than the one on my old CRX! The Honda would leak water around the driver's window during a heavy rain. I've had the Miata go through raging Florida thunderstorms (both travelling and parked) and am delighted to say that it did not leak a drop. I've also washed the car at a DIY carwash and it /still/ didn't leak. I was careful not to use full pressure spray directly at the window seals, but still... Anyway, for your car I'd suggest the hose test. Have one person sit in the car while the other sprays around the top with a hose (not too hard - just running water is enough). Look for the leak. My guess is that you have a bad weatherstrip around the door somewhere, but it might be the rear window too. Good luck. -John ------------------------------------------------ John Freas Red '90 Base jfreas@gte.net --- * WR [NR] * UNREGISTERED EVALUATION COPY ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Internet: john.freas@svis.org (John Freas) This message was processed by Software Valley Information System ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- \014 ==============================================================================
