From: "Matthew Anderson" <-Matco-@msn.com> Subject: HELP!...need help adjusting timing! Date: Sat, 2 Nov 1996 11:52:44 -0500
Okay, I was going to set my timing from 10 degress to 14 on my 96M Sebring today, and I was following the directions I got from Nico. It looks easy enough to do, and I was able to check the timing okay, but I don't know how to loosen the 12mm bolt on the cam sensor to move it. On the 1.6L cars it looks easy, but on the 1.8L the sensor is on the driver's side rear of the engine and the bolt is on the passenger side of the cam sensor and there are brackets and wrise and stuff above it which looks like it could be VERY difficult getting a 12mm wrench in there. Any ideas on how to get the wrench in there?...Is there something I am missing? Thanks, Matt 96M Sebring \014 ==============================================================================
