This sounded familiar so I looked it up and there's a letter in the fall 95 issue of the magazine (page 74) that sounds like the same problem. The passenger carpet was wet and they heard sloshing water sounds. The fix is to unstop the drain holes located beside the wheel jack points. This will let the water drain out of the rocker panel. They got more than a quart. Hope this works for you. << We've just had a record rain fall for the past two days and now my Miata sounds like it has collected a pocket of water somewhere on the passenger side. The carpet under the passenger seat is soaked. I can here the water slushing around during acceleration, deceleration and while making turns. When I looked under the car I noticed a very slow drip directly beneath the passenger seat. The dripping stops after about 5 to 10 minuets. Any ideas as to where the water is stored and how I can remove it? >> Lynne Long 90 Classic Red M Club 007 \014 ==============================================================================
