I think some of you have entirely missed the point of Kathy's post.



This was not a personal attack by her but an airing of an issue.



There is a serious difference between posting something to the list and sending a private note

to someone.



Internet/EMail/Whatever it doesn't matter.  The point is it's called DECENCY.



I don't know how some of you can't see the point.  How would you like it if you had a private

telephone conversation with someone and that person went outside with a megaphone, stood

on the busiest corner of your town, and screamed the text of your talk to everyone that went by.



IT'S THE SAME THING!!!!



If this message had been posted to the list that would be a differnt story.  This was not

the case.  It was intended to be private.



I'm not saying that he should be banned from the list or anything else that some of you have

mentioned.  I'm saying that we just need to think about the other persons feelings when we

receive a private message.  It was private for a reason.  That why it WASN'T PUT ON THE LIST

IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!



As far as you folks that have the attitude that nothing is private because it is on the AIR

we are not talking spying here. We are talking a willful betrayal of a trust.
