To raise the seats 3/4 inch in my 91 I simply cut strips of one-by wooden boards as wide and long as the seat's rails, drilled bolt-holes, and painted them black. This, and longer bolts, is all it takes. I really like the higher ride, better view, and seemly more elbow room. I also lowered the steering wheel about an inch, moved the shift lever closer, and lowered the rear view mirror, so now the car fits me perfect. My wife likes the higher seats too, but for a very different reason -- she's now got a good place under the seat to put her purse (extra shoes, socks, old candy, books, crossword puzzles. travel guides, and other junk -- you should get the idea). Now when I clean up the inside of the car I have to have a bag to put all the stuff in that she's left under her seat. I use @JUNO for only getting the list and don't always read all.
