   I don't know what part of the country you live in, but here in the

northeast, with the roads we have, and the various cars I drive, I rules out

cd players long ago. It's a pricier option, because you need a home recorder

too, really, but buy a minidisc, and your problems are over, period. I

actually go running wiht the portable unit, have the minidisc car unit in my

jeep, and Mr2, and use an adaptor with my Miata head unit, with the portable

piece. No skips, period. (and I off road quite a bit- for work -really...)



minidisc really is a beautiful thing.
