  DAT is more of a beautiful thing, but alas the car DAT decks (like my

DTX-10) are no longer made.



  I am sure that you can buy in-dash CD players now with electronic shock

protection.  Might have to buy a top-line unit from someone like Alpine, but

it should be available.  Mike should not let rough roads keep him from a CD

player.
