I would like a brace for the front section of the rear sub-frame for the 1.8 cars. I have the stock rear and fore/aft braces. Wiz (I think) make a forward brace for the rear subframe, but it picks up on the alignment adjuster (lower control arm pivot) bolts. I would like one that picked up the stock bolt locations for the fore/aft brace tubes. That is, just like the rearmost cross brace. Of course it would have to be bent down a little to clear the drive shaft and exhaust system. Oh yeah, I would like an aluminum tire rack. Probably should be like a receiver trailer hitch, attached to the rear tow hook mounting points (instead of hooks), with the rack supported by the sliding into the hitch receiver and by tubes running forward to pick up the 'frankenstein' bolts. The idea would be that instead of pulling a trailer (speed limit 55 mph, somewhat enforced, as opposed to 65, rarely enforced without trailer), I could slide the rack onto the rear of the car, put all four of my race tires (215/50/13 BFG R1's on 13x8" rims) on the rack and take them to races. One more thing, a set of toe bars. These mount front and rear of the car cross wise and are fixed some quick disconnect (but accurate) way. Run a bit of fishing line from the front to the rear bar (they stick out farther than the side of the car) on each side and now you have handy reference parallel lines for doing wheel alignment. Any thoughts? -dg David Gould dg@illustra.com 510.869.6383 Informix Software (formerly Illustra) 1111 Broadway #2000 Oakland, CA 94607 - A child of five could understand this!
