  The mention of new colors in Micro Machines Miatas (I made cute earrings

out of the smurf blue ones) sent me to Target. Unfortunately, I didn't have

any luck with Micro Machines, but....I found a boat load of Merlot Hot

Wheels (tan interior).  Unfortunately, they are in a Gift Package not

singles.  It's really an odd group.  You get the Merlot Miata and a police

car (Merv already encountered that combination this weekend) along with a

fire truck, dump truck and a tow truck.  It's the Hot Wheels 'Auto City'

gift pack about $5.  I grabbed 10 packages. One for me and 9 for the club

Christmas party this Saturday. I also found the Road Champs Die Cast

Collection.  It's 30 cars and contains TWO miatae; a red and a teal! I

didn't see the teal one until I got home.  These are a little more accurate

than the hot wheels. I got it for $10.  I think I'll give the rest of the

cars to the Ronald McDonald House, our club's unofficial adopted charity.
