Item Subject: cc:Mail Text Jeez, I promised myself I wouldn't contribute to any more of these types of threads that go on and on and on, but then I saw where Will said: >When parked, as I think I have said before, I leave the glove and central >boxes open with nowt in, but leave an old sweetie wrapper over the boot >release (cunning, eh?). I never leave anything in the boot, either. "Nowt in"...I just looove the way Will talks! However: What, every time you leave your car you carry your sunglasses, sunscreen, music tapes or CD's, extra T shirt, hats, maps, owner's manual, water bottle, CB radio, boot cover, spare tyre, jack, tools, tyre gauge, windblocker, roll of paper towels , flares, jumper cables, ground sheet, flashlight, ponytail holders, toothbrush, pen, and Miata club flyers along with you in a big (BIG) bag?!?! The above is an almost-complete list of what's in my car at almost all times except whilst cleaning, and I consider all of it essential to happy topless motoring (OK, except the T-shirt). How does one do without these things?? >If some one wants to steal my car, it would go onto the back of a pickup >truck, alarms, locks and radio notwithstanding. This is why I'm so happy there are so many Miatas around here...who wants an older white one when there are nice bright yellows and PhRedds and pretty new colours to choose from? All this waving is good for my arm muscles, too! >Who carries formivate insects in their boots anyway? :) Well, I found a baby tarantula in my waders once...does that count? Jeannie Hobbs Boulder Creek, CA But I *will not* tell Tom R. what California registration costs simply because I don't want everyone getting mad at me when he posts to *the entire list* merely to thank me for my info!! :D
