Subject: Club By-laws

Several days ago, I posted a note asking for help in writing By-laws for the

MiNeRS of Reno, NV, reasoning that it would be far easier to modify an

existing set, rather than re-invent the process.



Thanks to Dave DeNuzzo (Crazy Red Italian) for sending SAMOA's by-laws, Tony

B (Slave to the Treasurer of the San Diego Miata Club) for sending theirs,

and  Bill Gusky and Petunia of the Central Florida Club for his comments.  



Bill - while your comments were right on, "just drive them and enjoy them",

we wanted by-laws for structure and continuity, so we wouldn't have to have

endless discussions about how we were going to do something.  Now, when these

are approved, we'll have VERY short business meetings, and devote the rest of

the monthly meetings to fun things.
