Subject: Engine acting up

Yesterday, in our Florida storm, my '93 suddenly started running rough, mild

shudder, sluggish pickup, and it seem to want to smooth out at higer revs,

but not compleatly...this was right after I kicked the A/C on to clear the

windows and running through a puddle...



Can the Spark Plug wires go that quickly?  Would bad gas kick in after 60

miles (I did go to a station other than my usual one)?



She starts right up still, the Oil Pressure is normal and there's no

evidence of loss of coolant.



Suggestions/similar experiences would be most appreciated.
