I was stopped in at the local Mazda dealership the other day, and while Baby

was getting all the salesmen to put noseprints on the showroom window, I had

a look at one of the three 1996s that they have left on the lot.  They're

all black, and listed among the options was "metallic paint".  What?  If so,

it's the world's most subtle metallic.  The salesman assured me it was truly

premuim paint, but I've heard some pretty creative things sometimes - only

the black is metallic, he claims.  Is this the case?
