A h*ll of a lot cheaper, that's for sure. I installed them earlier this year. Made a big difference, the originals had 65k miles on them. Would I buy them again? Maybe. I think a blew the seal on the front right one already. It may have been a big pothole, which I distinctly remember (Man, I hate driving in downtown Chicago), but I don't if that is what caused it to fail. I will probably replace just the front ones with the Tokico HPs (~$70/each). The other three seem fine. I only have maybe 8000 miles on them so I can't speculate on longevity. At the time, I had just ordered the BEGI turbo and a Centerforce Clutch, so I skimped on the shocks. If you have the $$$, go with the HPs or better. Someone speculated they were actually made by Monroe. I don't think anybody confirmed it. FWIW, Joe G '92 Silver
