Tues. evening I went to pick up the car.  Suprise, it wasn't even close...



The clear-coat had REAL noticable orange-peel.  This was expected.  I

advised the manager that it needed to be wet sanded and smoothed out a good

deal more.



The biggest problem was the texture material that they attempted to use on

the bottom of the replaced fender in no way, shape or form resembled the

original.  The crap they put on the car looked like handfuls of sand,

gravel and sticks thrown up against some wet glue, then painted over.  I

explained that THAT was TOTALLY unacceptable, that they should be able to

find the original stuff, or something a LOT closer to it.  



So, the $64K question is:  does the OEM texture material exist, and where

can it be found?
