Good thread, I would enjoy hearing prospectives on this issue because I have been considering this one myself. With my supercharged miata I can too easily spin the rear wheels. I too have been considering going wider in the rear to give me more meat back there yet, not wanting the steering to get too heavy etc., going with more moderate rubber up front. Anybody out there already tried this? Perhaps 205/55/14 in the back and 185/60/14 or 195/55/14 up front? The MCA 89 miata was, probabily still is for all I know, running 205/50/15 out back and 195/50/15 in the front for similar reasons.
