At the risk of adding one more post to this thread, I feel I need to come out and clear some impressions up. My post was the one where I was asking for others input into getting a few products that I had ordered from Wiz. I have been not to impressed with Wiz. The original post I made was for *ideas* from all who subscribe to the list as to ways into dealing with this. Sometimes ideas get confused with action. There was no lynching, effigies, or public condemnation call from anyone on the list in the original post. Without getting into a philosophical debate about the nature of ideas, I would only say that people's positions on issues come from a variety of experiences. I was calling for listmembers ideas based on those previous experiences. In other words, I was asking for others ideas on how to deal with Wiz, an unresponsive company; what has worked before, what has not. As far as not being christian, or whatever, I don't think raising an issue in a questioning way in an honest attempt to gather various ideas merits that type of response. I have called Wiz *many* times, I have emailed Wiz many times. I was out of options, short of cancelling my credit card order from the bank. In a previous life, I too was a small business owner. I *know* what it is like not to have stock on hand. I also knew not to promise something on the assumption that my supplier would come through. My embarrasement was usually greater than their anger. People do come around, and I will be one of those people also. Postive responses to good service are always welcome. To that end, I have posted many times postive outcomes with Miata related product dealers. A good pat on the back, and job well done, are sometimes all that people need to continue providing good work. Kathy's list of suggestions was sooo good that I am including it in this post. >Helpful suggestions to get Wiz back on the road to success: >(Incidentally, these would be good tips for any vendor) > >1) If you are not sure - SAY SO! > >2) If you can't deliver it - DO NOT say that you can! > >3) Do not thinly disguise advertisements as helpful responses on > Miata.Net - the smarter cookies will see thru it and NOT appreciate > these antics.
