On my first trip to San Jose, this was introduction to Ca. style backroads. I looked up from somewhere in Santa Clara, saw the Lick Observatory WAY out there, and thought, "Hmmm, let's go THERE." Amazing little road. Unfortunately, all I had was a rental Ford Probe, with what felt like a sixty-foot turning radius. Oh, well. And now they don't rent Miatas at Hertz anymore. Bummer. There are roads in NE that are almost as curvy, but none that I've seen that are as smooth, or which offer such good visability. Any suggestions? Mackyboy '90 MBRG
