The bottom (inside) of the deck lid has water on it like it's > sweating, and the "carpet" is wet. Any ideas on how to fix this? Mine does (did?) the same thing when it rained heavily. Never got to the sweaty trunklid stage, but got the carpet plenty wet. There are a couple of possible places where the water can get in, the worst is if you have a broken rain rail on the top. The easiest (and fairly common) is a bad seal around one or both of the tail lights. It could also be a bad trunklid seal. I found my tail light leak by taking the car to a "hose it yourself" (Canuks make up your own jokes) car wash and spraying all around the suspected areas, one at a time, and checking for water inside. I found that it was the right tail light that was the culprit. I got a pair and did both lights at the same time. The seals are dirt cheap, especially from Tommy, and the job took 10 minutes. I haven't been back to the carwash to test the seals yet, but since it's **80 degrees** out, I guess I'll have to! :D -John ------------------------------------------------ John Freas (jfreas@gte.net) Red '90 Base Clearwater, Florida Team Roebuck Team Voodoo Team Redline MTL Team No hardtop posts Team "I have no idea what those dimple things on the windshield frame are for." ------------------------------------------------
